I would like to respectfully suggest State of Paradise by Laura van den Berg. I love this author and this was one of my favorite reads of 2025.

i wonder if the employees would fit? iâm not 100% sure if itâs what youâre going for, itâs a bit futuristically sci-fi, and there are robots, but a lot of it is about what makes the humans, human, versus âhumaoid.â this is an excellent list!!! also interesting in form
