ooh I love this! The Hungry Tide by Amitav Ghosh would be a great addition to this list in my opinionđ
so obsessed with this! the niche/theme and book selection are bothđđœđ
thanks so much, i really appreciate it!
This might be my favorite list title I've seen yet. Great selection!
ikr! what a great list friend!!!
ahh thank you so much!!
this list is absolutely fascinating, thank you for creating it đ
thank you! đ
this is such a wonderful list! đ©” i love the connection made between bodies of water and the sociopolitical. if i could add a suggestion, i would recommend black cake by charmaine wilkerson from this yearâs carnival readalong. the ocean + swimming hold such an important impact on the charactersâ own personal development and their ties to their cultural heritage within the story that i think would make it fit well here!
omg that's a great idea, i read black cake years ago and i forgot how central the ocean is in that book!
omg thanks to whoever nominated this list for a quest!!
Hello hibiscus! đđ» Please include if any of the following match the list requirements, thank you! đŒ
ooh thanks for these recommendations @mongoose! iâll look into these titles
Added There Are Rivers in the Sky, thank you! Sounds like a great read, also adding it to my personal queue :)
