Ooo. How cool! (Though, yes, on the note—this is a topic that too often dips into problematic territories! 😅) I have The Conjuring of America; Mojos, Mermaids, Medicine, and 400 Years of Black Women’s Magic by Lindsey Stewart on my tbr, which seems like it might fit unless it’s too broad?
I’ll add the book because I do think it fits even if it’s more broader hehe that actually just makes me more interested in it! 🥰
