I’ve only read the first book of the series so far, but I recommend All Systems Red (the first book of the Murderbot Diaries) by Martha Wells! I think it fits into this theme too and Murderbot the character is actually so relatable

Highly recommend The Wild Robot by Peter Brown! :)
