Earlier this year when I read it for school, I didn’t nearly enjoy it as much as I am rn. I am being allowed to slow down and comprehend it in my own mind without having to think about what it would give me in terms of my grade.
It’s such and intentionally written book so almost every detail that’s mentioned is important or foreshadowing. I was gifted this book in a set and I’m not sure I want to deface it with my handwriting and annotations also bc it has really small margins and is gorgeous. Even being so short, it is still one of those books you really want to analyse and take the time to understand.

Post from the My True Love Gave to Me: Twelve Holiday Stories forum
I borrowed this from Libby on Christmas because it was festive short stories. I am now noticing the amount of big name authors who’ve contributed. Rainbow Rowell, Holly Black, Jenny Han and more. Now I’m intrigued because from what I’ve read from these authors they have different types of books and themes generally. Fun!
