General thoughts… I was immediately drawn to the gorgeous cover of this book; though I’m not sure I fully understood what was in store for me. I was immediately drawn into the book, and practically ate up every page.

Some things I loved…

• Cybil is stronger than me… I would have folded way sooner. I am probably just about as obsessed with Miriam as Miriam is obsessed with Cybil.
• I have highlighted so many thirsty quotes from this book… should I be embarrassed? Maybe.
• Aside from my thirsty highlights, I thought this book was beautifully written. The prose read very lyrical (especially every time Miriam spoke, heh).
• I genuinely cannot describe how much I loved this book. The dynamic between the characters… the reincarnation. I wish I could say more but when it think about the book it really is just excited keyboard smash

Some things to consider…

• If you’re not into a dark romance/stalker dynamic this definitely isn’t the book for you.

Final thoughts… Easily one of my favorite books of the year. I had to purchase a special edition of it practically the moment I finished. I highly recommend. I ate this book up from the front to the back, and I just might do it again.
