I'm sorry but I have absolutely zero emotional investment to this book in general, the plot, or any of the characters in it. 😒 I get that it is a beloved part of the series but it's just not vibing with me.

Thoughts from 8% (page 40) - help im struggling

so im like only a couple chapters in and this book is really hard to get through. like im struggling to actively read this without falling asleep or screaming at snow like crazy. I know this is like a good book and it would be concerning if I did like snow as a character but still ... its hard to read a book when you don't like the person who is telling the story ya know? broo I want to be into it like I was with the og trilogyyy but its so harddd

Never picked this up back in the day because I wasn't really interested in having empathy for Snow in any way. But want to read Sunrise, so here we are. Also Snow is poor right now 👀 and Tigris is his cousin??!! 🤯

Excited to start this but don’t know if I’m emotionally ready for it. It’s been years since I’ve read anything hunger games and now that’s I’ve started I know it’s gonna hurt, especially now, when it hits too close to home and DT announced the “patriots games”

Umm Ms gurl what’s with the incense comment? I’m tryna read on, but it’s sticking with me! Incense is not stinky… the fact that you prefer the smell of a litter box to incense don’t sit right with my soul.

I’m really struggling with this one. The book is mesmorising and DISGUSTING at the same time. I simply do not know how I feel about it and I am slow to reach for it.

Listening to the audiobook now and I’m glad I didn’t buy the book! Shout out to Libby with it. I was initially intrigued, and I’m still invested enough to finish, but it does feel… a little repetitive? So far, the retelling of everyone’s story feels to familiar. I got the gist with the first guy! I was hoping for more of a variation, but I think with this camping trip, that may change. Anyway, I’m hopeful as of now.
