Every single time you guys refer to PageBound as “PB”, I read it as peanut butter. 😭😭😭
That’s it.
That’s the post.

When it comes to readalongs on PB, do you aim to read one of the books, or all of them? I recently joined my local library and aim to use my library card to try and read all the books in the Autumn and Dia de los Muertos readalongs. I know I only need one for the Dia de los Muertos readalong, but I couldn't decide between the three options tbh 😂 And for the Autumn readlong, I really want the sparkly pumpkin tbh.
I'm terrified future readalongs will include authors I can't in good conscience support, because that would look me out of the sparks badges 😥 And of course I'm very sad that I can't get the past badges because I only found PB when the app was announced

If you had all the time in the world to read but could only stick to one format… which would it be? 🤔
📖 Hardcover 📚 Paperback 📱 Digital (Kindle/ebook) 🎧 Audiobook
Personally, I’m 100% Team Kindle 💕 I love the color display, being able to highlight passages, look up words instantly, read anywhere since it fits in nearly everything I carry, and never worry about lighting. It’s just so convenient!!

Fictional books that feel like a warm hug, featuring magic and whimsy and perfectly happy endings. These are lower on stakes and higher on good vibes!

It feels a little bit like watching someone else play Animal Crossing - there are so many things to do, so many things to collect and to take care of, and so many villagers to talk to and to connect ... someone else has that feeling? :D

I started reading this book knowing it would be a wholesome read, thanks to other reviews. I never expected to enjoy it this much though. It's such a light and relaxing read, even with some of the "plot twists" (if you can call them that) happening towards the end. There are some discrepancies, hence the 3.5 stars when it comes to quality (and the 4 in characters), but they do not affect the enjoyment of this book at all.
Even though I was on holiday, I would take the book everywhere, and even when I had 2 minutes I would take it out and read, that's how hooked to it I was. It has anything I personally like: books boo📚, plants 🪴, cats 🐈⬛ (with wings too 😍), food (especially pastries and bread 🥐🥖), and wholesome friendships. This idea of retreating to an island, opening a jam shop, and leaving behind the chaos of the city and a corporate job, well, that's what I want with my life, I envy Kiela.
