This entire guac scene has me cheesing so hard. Because what do you mean he rests his chin on her shoulder, opens his mouth for her to feed him a chip with guac, tells her “it’s the best guac” he’s ever had, then “simultaneously slides one arm over [her] belly, resting his palm on [her] opposite hip, and lifts the other hand” to grab a salt shaker and then lime to add to the guac, but STILL says “it’s the best I ever had because you made it for me”.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO RESUSCITATE ME!

"Hey," I say. He grunts. "No sleeping." His lips kick up into a smile. "I'm not sleeping." "You always say that when I catch you sleeping." "I'm never sleeping when I close my eyes like this with you." "Then what are you doing?" He pauses and I think he might not answer. But then he says, "I'm committing the moment to memory.”

I’m so glad Miles is here.” I throw my arms out to the sides. “Let’s be oil paintings, you beautiful bitch!” He lowers his book and eyes me over top of it. “It must be truly exhausting to live in your brain.” “You have no idea.” I turn and collapse onto him and throw his book as far as I can.

Only Cara Bastone can make a moment that is equally funny and heartwarming!! This was everything
