Great book! Couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed how it flipped between 2 perspectives and jumped around in time!

Overall an engaging, creative, and thought provoking story! Not my favorite of his which is why I gave it a 4, but it is a really great piece of fiction as per usual from kurt.

It kind of bothers me how it seemed the strength and security katniss got from holding peetas hand in books 1 and 2 was replaced when she held gales hand at the beginning of this book. I get she's been through a lot but needing to hold a man's hand to get the strength to handle something as the female heroine gave me pause, anyone else?

Blazing through this one because I want to finish the trilogy. On a writing level, I preferred the first book - I think it was a lot more cohesive, and I feel like a lot of this book serves as setting up for the third. Just confirms how much I love Peeta, though.

It's one of those books where you and the main character have no idea what's going on and you're figuring it out with them! Im excited to find out what is happening
