Would highly recommend The Black Tides of Heaven by Neon Yang! Both a main character and the author are nonbinary.

I recommend "The Sacrifice" by Rin Chupeco, "They Bloom At Night" by Trang Thanh Tran, "The Honeys" by Ryan La Sala. All books have enby MCs written by enby authors. If I may add a little well-intentioned criticism... I find it a bit irritating that enby MCs/characters and enby authors are thrown together here. While I'm always happy to support an enby author, when I'm looking for a story with enby representation, the list as is isn't that helpful. If you have the time and energy, maybe you could pin a comment that lists which books have enby rep, and which ones are written by enby authors? Just an idea, I'm still grateful to you for putting together this list and highlighting enbys both in stories and the real world 🙂

I shall add them 🥰 No that's totally fair, I'll explain my reasoning but it's not to brush away your criticism; I did it that way since my lists are inspired by the fact that it's currently the Trans Rights Readathon, which focuses on books both by trans, and/or with trans rep, so I included both in the lists! That's a really good idea to clarify which books have rep and which are by nb authors (or both); I should have the time to do that within the next few days 😊

I recommend The Fox and the Dryad by Kellen Graves! Kellen graves is nonbinary and the love interest is nonbinary!

i recommend I Wish You All the Best and Okay Cupid by Mason Deaver, Otherworldly by FT Lukens, and The Pairing by Casey McQuiston, all have mcs that are nonbinary!!

I forgot to mention one book recently: "Let them stare" by Jonathan van Ness and Julie Murphy, a YA urban fantasy/magical realism story about a queer teen and a trans ghost. Both JVN and the MC are enby 🌈

Another I just added to my tbr is trans-masc non-binary inclusive! The Stars & The Stage by DN Bryn. Trans author. I can note. So is Parrish, who I reccomended yesterday.
