Great list, you have some really good, interesting, helpful books on here!
Thank you!! đŤś
A great list! I swear by Nancy Birthwistle's cleaning recipes. For those who can't afford to buy or don't have her in their library, she has a great IG, where she also posts from her books for people to screenshot and save â¤ď¸
ooo, that's good to know, thank you!
Awsome list, so glad to see making stuff and doing things on here ive used it for so many diy projects and genral life advise. Will definitely check out these books for some more wisdome đđ
Thank you! That is one book I haven't gotten to fully read yet, but my one friend swears by 'making stuff and doing things,' and I have been able to casually flip through hers over the years and found so many helpful things. Plus, I really love the Zine Culture that formed the book!
Punk zine culture is the best đ diy or die !
Perfectly Good Food is great!!
ooo, thank you, that looks perfect for this list!
I feel like the book âWorms Eat my Garbageâ might be the perfect fit for this list. â¤ď¸
ooo yes, that definitely seems to fit the vibe, adding it now! Thanks for the recommendation đ
Omg this is a list i did not know i needed!! Bookmarked đ
Thank you! I hope you find some helpful information đ
Awesome list! I would also recommend The Everlasting Meal by Tamar Adler, itâs probably the only cookbook Iâve actually read cover to cover
That looks perfect for this list! And has been added to my TBR so double thanks đđ
𫡠itâs a genuinely amusing read too
This is such a great concept for a list! I immediately got Goblin Mode from my local library, thanks for the rec!
Ooo Iâm currently reading that one, I hope you enjoy it!
Some recommendations! "Good and Cheap" by Leanne Brown, which is available as a free PDF, is an excellent cookbook for cooking on a tight budget. And I also recommend the "Poorcraft" graphic novel series by C. Spike Trotman, which goes into great detail about how to live better on a limited budget.
ooo Thank you! I added good and cheap, and will definitely take a look at the Poorcraft series
As someone who killed a blueberry bush last spring and is making sure I get that bush this spring, this is great!! Sometimes looking things up online only gets you so much.
ooo hopefully some of these help. Though I found looking for local gardening books, whether a local author or just a series designed specifically for gardening in my region, helped me so much. Just the fact that the advice is so much more specific to my environmental factors made a huge difference.
