no matter what happens, there will be books with neon-text-on-a-dark-background covers and they will be thrillers.

i need you to trust me when i say i will read ANY book with this cover. they’re my kryptonite for better or worse.
I def went through this phase last year. I went through sooo many thrillers that looked like this

once you get sucked into their orbit it’s so hard to escape
love that you’re so passionate about this type of cover because i despise them😭

believe me i understand and trust that i cant even explain the chokehold they’ve had me in for YEARS

I love these types of covers for thrillers! They're always so vivid and striking and match the genre so well!
RIGHT like i get why it has detractors but at ONE GLANCE you can tell what you’re in for and if you’ll like it based on what you associate it with…. perfect book cover formula
I'm not a thriller reader but as a BooksandLala viewer, I'm surprised Riley Sager's books aren't on here lol
This is to true, you can tell which section is which genre in a bookstore without reading the labels, and thriller is the easiest one in my opinion. Also might I suggest No One Can Know, the authors name is evading me right now, but I’ll see if I can find it. Edit: the author is Kate Alice Marshall.

oooh adding!! thank you!
Legit never realized this about the covers and I’ve read quite a few of these 😭😭😭 I love it. Always felt like something was too similar but did not pick up on this at all haha
