OH HELL YES I AM HERE it makes me so sad when people say a book is bad because the narrator is disengaged when that’s intentional 😭😭😭I love me some dissonance!


you get it!! these are my favourite kinds of narrators, especially if we get rare, brief glimpses of what’s behind the mask
You can tell when I’ve read reviews before writing my own because it usually sounds like “you don’t GET it you’re SUPPOSED to be bored or not feel emotionally attached, that’s the POINT!”
