In honor of our queen Dolly Parton's tragic passing, I present to you, a list that includes books she has shared she loved, books that give me Dolly vibes, books she herself has written and books about her... basically just a big ol' Dolly appreciation list. Recommendations welcome!! In the meantime, pour one out for an icon, you'll catch me watching Steel Magnolias and sobbing. Rest in power, Dolly.

Listening to My Tennessee Mountain Home and crying thinking about what an inspirational icon she is. Her legacy will live on through every free book she made possible.
Also, there's the book I was just able to put on hold at my local library Ain't Nobody's Fool: the life and times of Dolly Parton by Martha Ackmann that just came out last year

Love this, she's one of few people who like 99% of people love and respect ❤️ today I was reading Grief Eater where the mc is belting out Jolene on the way to a funeral and Dolly songs are part of her tribute. I guess it was a fitting day to pick that one up.
