Love this! I'd like to recommend World of Wonders by Aimee Nezhukumatathil. It even has lovely illustrations to amp up the joy.

If you're taking recommendations, moski, I highly recommend Annie Dillard's Teaching a Stone to Talk - Dillard just died about a week ago. That essay collection is absolutely amazing. It inspired my own creative non fiction essay writing, and has made me revel in the world around me.
