All of the books seen on display in Episode 1 of The Vampire Lestat, "Detroit," during Lestat's trip to the independent bookstore in Montreal, encountering some snotty cashiers.

With many thanks to the screenshots and titles posted by Reddit Sleuths here: https://www.reddit.com/r/InterviewVampire/comments/1rffiim/all_the_book_titles_i_was_able_to_identify_from/
This bookshop scene can also be viewed in The Vampire Lestat ep 1 "Detroit."
I spat my drink at this list title!!!! I can't believe you've done this đ

Since the episode this scene is in has premiered, I have to admit I have not found it detailed enough to identify the books behind the cashiers or what appears to be a magazine of some kind called de Printemps. Funny that there would be a magazine about the spring when the show is supposed to be taking place in October, but who knows LOL.
I was also not able to identify what appears to be be a book called Classic Western(s?) (way to vague, could potentially be a coffee table book of scenery or a box set or something), or which Louise Penny books are shelved in a row, since only her name is visible and she has multiple books that are that shade of blue.

Hi! I also spotted Giovanni's Room (cover designed by Beauford Delaney), Foster by Claire Keegan, and I believe a hardcover copy of Carmilla in one of the corners? Love this!

The lore implications of Carmilla existing in the IWTV TV show world are staggering! Excellent finds!
I think it exists in the books as well! The vampires have a bunch of bars named after literary and film vampires. I wonder if businessman Louis could own them in the show universe?

Oh, right, I completely forgot about that!! Honestly I could see TV Louis as being into franchising.
I love that for them, give vampires a bit of irony as a treat
I saw Yellowface right under Martyr and Atmosphere.

I noticed it too! I can't wait to really comb over this when the show comes out LOL. I can definitely connect many of the titles thematically with I think will come up in the show, but I have to wonder how many were picked because they were already on-site (the outside's been located as a real Montreal bookstore) or they were faves of the crew or it just did nice thing for the colors in the bg.
the way this is just my tbr list⌠although they called armand a beta boy (??) itâs obvious the people who work at the bookstore have GREAT TASTE
The Let Them Theory being here is iconic for him
FR LMAO

IT'S SO FUNNY
bell hooks' all about love being on display next to copies of Interview also seems prescient
THANK U
Yo and the list of books is FIRE that's so THOROUGH! AMC IWTV is the kind of adaptation that as a writer you could only dream to achieve
The IWTV set designers have an immaculate taste lmao
