I have read a good few of these books, but my favorite from the ones that you have listed is probably One Last Stop. I felt that book had everything I usually look for in a book, and it was an enjoyable read. Yesterday, I came across Sunburn for the very first time. I added it to my TBR so hopefully I'll read it soon (since I started reading Throne of Glass). If you're looking for sapphic recommendations, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is by far my favorite book of all time!! A must, if you haven't read it, especially if you have never read a Taylor Jenkins Reid book before.

I've been meaning to read a Taylor Jenkins Reid! TY!

I was listening to One Last Stop while at work earlier this year (I often keep one earbud in during the day). Several times, in the found family moments, I nearly burst into tears. One must be careful what one listens to at the office!

If anyone is looking for historical sapphic romances, check out Hen Fever by Olivia Waite or Alexandra Vasti’s upcoming Ladies in Hating as well!

Yes, love Olivia Waite! She's on my very short "always preorder" list.

2

Loved Hen Fever, and the cover is weirdly cute

1

Which of these are your top recs? (personally I prefer heavier on plot than spice)

3

I haven't read all of them, but This is How you Lose the Time War is supposed to be amazing and no spice that I know of. It's more of an epic tale that has love more than a typical romance book. I know some of these are YA, like Imogen Obviously, Loveless, We are Okay, and Her Royal Highness, so there will be no spice in those.

HIGHLLYYY recommend sunburn, very coming of age and figuring yourself out type of book, absolutely loved it

Me too! Read it in February for a valentines prompt and loved it 😊

1

It wasn’t a romance book, but really enjoyed the sapphic relationship in Interesting Facts About Space by Emily Austen

2

Another great sapphic coming of age is A Sharp And Endless Need. Gorgeously written bleeding heart of a book 😭

2

The Oxford Romance series by Clare Ashton is so sweet

1

Personally I LOVE Haley Cass. I really like the way she paces her stories + she knows how to do a slowish-burn

1

I don't know if this counts as a romance in it's entirety but it is defo about sapphic love and I can't describe how much I love this book, 'Palm Meridian.'

1

I always come back to this list

1

Oh I've read or have most of these to read! I would highly recommend Nobody in Particular by Sophie Gonzales, or any of Ashley Herring Blake's other sapphic books for anyone else who enjoyed these ones :)

1

happy pride to my group chat, I'll be gifting them this list. thank you!

1

A sapphic romance novel that I read recently that I loved is ‘Those Who Wait’ by Haley Cass. It is heavy on spice but the plot is very well written and I enjoyed it! So maybe it could be added to the list or if anyone is looking for another recommendation!

1

highly appreciate you for this list 😭
