LOL you can do it! If you are looking for a place to start, Tales from the Gas Station is one of my favorites and itās more on the cosmic side of the horror genre.
With any horror book though, check the trigger/content warnings, if you avoid certain content. š Edit: Updated recommendation

I recently found out via a post on the forum, that John Dies at the End uses some terrible offensive language. I read it more than 15 years ago so I didnāt remember that at all and his newer books arenāt like that so I am disappointed.
I recommend giving Tales from the Gas Station a try, itās very fun and not too scary.
