I feel as though I’ve been swept up into the circus. The writing is so atmospheric

  • books that discuss physical disability?

merry christmas, pagebound club! I was wondering if any of you have suggestions for books that discuss physical disability (bonus points if it’s about a chronic illness or autoimmune disease)? I’m happy to read about this in any form, whether that’s fiction, memoir, non-fiction, or something else! I know this is a pretty general request, but I wanted to keep it intentionally broad so as to gather more recs. thanks all :)

Looking for some cozy mystery recs because I want to write one (which will also be a romance, or at least I want it to be). The romance doesn’t have to be included, but do you have any cozy mystery recs pls? 🄺 ty

  • A question abt bookmarks

…what do u guys do with ur bookmarks while reading? Do u hold them? Stick them in a random page? Sit them down somewhere near u? I feel so awkward when I go to read a book but don’t know what to do with my bookmark… I usually just leave it at the page I’m starting off with then move it when I’m done.

  • Building Reading Stamina

Any tips for building more reading stamina? My attention span these days has been dwindling (thanks TikTok šŸ˜‚) and realize that reading for longer periods of time is more difficult. Miss being able to lock into a book!

Tips for cutting down tbr and interested?

I use interested for books im curious about reading but dont have a lot of feeling for. But now ive got like 300 books between the two shelves. I need to cut them down as am overwhelmed. I have my own shelves like ā€œexcited tbrā€ etc. But any other tips?

    Thank you!!!

EDIT: i mean like tips on how to decide if a book is truly one for the tbr? A la marie kondo ā€œdoes it spark joyā€? Or ā€œwould u wash or throw away this item if it got poo on itā€?
