But all of that is gone now… Funny, unexpected, horrifying, and altogether convincing, The Handmaid's Tale is at once scathing satire, dire warning, and tour de force.

Sick to my stomach in the way Agustina Bazterrica probably intended her readers to be. I hate Marcos, I hate Cecelia, I ESPECIALLY HATE URLET. Part one made me queasy, part two made me wanna pass out. Great book, 10/10 messaging, won’t be reading it again. The ending made me upset but I wasn’t surprised.

i won’t spoil anything because there’s nothing to spoil???? nothing is happening at all?? 400 pages to narrate two days??? i can’t stand any of the characters? we’re caught in this love triangle, this insta-love and endless descriptions of how hot they think the other is????? and don’t let me start about kamran…. i can’t stand this man.
