does anyone know a book (that is not a memoir or autobiography) with ocd rep?
I have heard Turtles All The Way Down has good OCD rep! I've never read it so I can't confirm that, but I've been told it is solid.
Tysm!
I know John Green is diagnosed OCD so I wouldn't be surprised if this reflects his personal experience.
Yes I've heard the same!
Poison Wars series has some really good ocd rep, if youâre into fantasy.
Holly Bournes 'Am I normal yet?' It's coming out of age-ish about a teenage girl with OCD and anxiety. One of the best young adult books about mental health and friendship I've ever read.
ah the yellow toiletwallpaper, making me fear men since high school
truly nothing more horrifying
Please, stop, my TBR canât take this đđđđ (just kidding, thank you â¤ď¸)
LOVE this list. so needed. thanks for putting it together!
yes ofc! i will keep adding to it as i read and come across more good representation đââď¸
Thank you for this list! I'm glad to see Flowers for Algernon's representation was accurate (not the plot obviously đ)
I read it way back in middle school so I'm due for a reread!
Oooooh, I would love to hear your thoughts on it, if you ever do!
The Change trilogy had great rep of PTSD
noted! i haven't personally read them but ill consider checking them out!
This is such a cool list, definitely going to have to expand my tbr with some of these books
