oh what a cute list! Mad Honey by Jennifer Finney Boylan & Jodi Picoult would also fit this!

Definitely adding to the list!
I don't know if this would fit what you are looking for, as it is a memoir, but it is a narrative memoir. And that is Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton, as she has more than one recipe throughout the book that aligns with what she is talking about.

Memoirs count too! I'll add it in!
crazy that i was JUST thinking of wanting to know what people's favorite recipes (from books) were. it's like this list was meant to be
Crazy?? 👀 That's definitely a wild premonition tho 🙂↕️
crazy? i was crazy once
I've been crazy since day one 😎
HAHA i don’t doubt it!! i was referencing the “crazy? i was crazy once. they locked me in a room. a rubber room. a rubber room with rats. and rats make me crazy.” and then each time crazy is said, it repeats
Oh, dw, I know the reference lol 🤣
OH OH GOOD i was like am i too chronically online for this 😩
idk where it originated from 😔

I love when I come across a book that unexpectedly has the recipes included! 🥰
It has been ages since I read it but I think With the Fire on High had recipes in it?

Thanks!! I'll add it into the list!
I love this list!!
The series “A Tita Rosie’s Kitchen Mystery” by Mia P. Manansala (#1 is Arsenic and Adobo) have recipes (or at least the first three that I read. It would be strange if they just stopped, though). Also, I don’t know if you want non-fiction, but My Soul Looks Back is Jessica B Harris’s memoir and has recipes. Black Bottom Saints by Alice Randall has cocktail recipes. I feel like I know more, but not off the top of my head right now.

Thank you! I'll add them! I've read several but was having trouble remembering which ones had them too.
I started a post yesterday asking people if they’ve made any recipes from fiction books and I got a couple of answers! If you want you can add them here ☺️ Seven Recipes for Revolution - Ryan Rose Butter - Asako Yuzuki Meet Me at the Cupcake Café - Jenny Colgan Little Beach Street Bakery - Jenny Colgan The Spare Man - Mary Robinette Kowal
And as a bonus, a memoir (not sure if it fits this list) Slow Noodles - Chantha Nguon

Thank you! I just added these to the list 🩷
If you are taking recommendations, I just finished Missed Connections which is a new release that has recipes in the book and the author posted some on her blog Linked Here also was a very good book!

I added Missed Connections! She has so many other books too. And its right up my alley with historical fiction 💗
Oh I just finished a book with recipes scattered throughout! Every few chapters the narrator would offhandedly mention a cocktail and then the next page would be the drink’s recipe, slipped in like an ad. The book is Bad Eminence by James Greer!

It's added! I cant wait to read from this list!
I just finished a book called "Last Wool and Testament" by Molly MacRae that has the recipes for certain foods mentioned in the novel put in at the end, and it made me think of this list.

I just added it! It looks like a cute book
"Notes from a Young Black Chef" by Kwame Onwuachi has a recipe every chapter!
"Keeper of the Lost Cities: Unlocked" by Shannon Messenger has a whole section of recipes in its middle.
"Books that Cook: the Making of A Literary Meal" by Jennifer Cognard-Black and Melissa A. Goldthwaite has some recipes in the essays as well!
All worthwhile reads!!
