Book covers with typography oriented in non-standard alignments, instead of the typical horizontal + left to right text alignment. Or: graphic design is my passion, and today we are learning about text paths đââď¸. This is an immensely silly List, and always open to suggestionsâvertical text, circular, upside down, anything goes!

Glad it gave you a chuckle đ
As someone who's bad at graphic design, I absolutely love seeing others pull it off well, so this list is awesome! Are you looking for any hand-lettering as well, or sticking to typography?

Totally open to anything with hand lettering too! â¤ď¸

Bushnell -Amberlough by Lara Elena Donnelly -My Year Abroad by Chang-rae Lee

ooooooooooo these are rad, thank you so much!
This list feels like the exact opposite vibe of my least favourite cover design trend, where the author's name is in the same size and font as the title so it's confusing which is which initially. Funky covers that reflect the tone of the book are the best, and titles should match with that!!! This list is amazing, thanks for putting it together!

ahhhh gosh - i'm so happy and touched that you think so, honestly! i agree that the covers where the author name overshadows the title absolutely SUCK lol. always glad to bring a bit of funkiness to everyone else!!
1984 by George Orwell has some great covers that would be perfect for this list! Other possibilities that haven't been mentioned yet: -The Javelin Program by Derin Edala -The Notebook, The Proof, The Third Lie by Ăgota KristĂłf -The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton

wowowow these are? super cool? thanks so much for the suggestions!
this list is so cool!! i'm eyeing all these covers hehe đ
i've got one (maybe two?) suggestions off the top of my head?:
