Wonderful list! I literally just read something that would fit on here so thank you for obliging my comment: Mortedant's Peril by RJ Barker.
Highly recommend voyage of the damned btw 🙂↕️🙂↕️
Oh, I loved it!
Ahhhh yay!!!!! I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was brilliant. And i loved the characters
I'm so excited to try this list!! I don't read a lot of this specific genre so thanks for making this list mossy!!! 💛🤩
Awww youre so welcome hehehe !!! I remember you rec-ing The Raven Scholar to me. I wanna read but i heard it’s like 600 pages aaaaaaa
Oh my goodness, I forgot!! It’s thick, but a good medium pace so an easier read at your own pace. I’m excited to try others on this list! A few are on my TBR :)
Omg books in this list have the most beautiful covers I've ever seen 😍
Righht! I just popped in to say the same 😍
And some of these are the books I've never heard before, so I'm excited to add these to my tbr 😆
THAT MAKES ME SO HAPPY ! I get so excited adding to this list, i always look out for fantasy murder mysteries when im looking at bookstagram or new releases. I hope you find some stuff u enjoy!! Pls keep me updated if u read any !!
Omg, even though im just the maker of this list i feel so proud and happy and flattered yay!!

I would be too! Do you have any that you really like and would suggest? Truth be told, I have read nothing on this list 😂
I havent read most of these either! I really loved Voyage of the Damned though. My Plain Jane is part of the Janies series so im excited for that one! And The Raven Scholar, i do hear good things about
I’m actually reading My Plain Jane now, and its pretty good so far (I’m about 25% in)
Oh oh oh so fun! Except for ur thoughts. What made u decide to go for it?
I read the first one in September and thought I’d continue the series since I really enjoyed the narration style of it
The choices are endlesssssssss. You have my eternal gratitude oh Great Moss 😭🤧
Dear Elf !!!!!! Ily!!!! Hugs ✨✨✨ excited to see ur thoughts if u read any!!
So many of these are on my Tbr ! I plan to read those during winter idk winter seems perfect for a whodunit!
Oh GREAT list idea, definitely saving!
Two of my favourite genres! But I haven't tried this combination before. Thank you for this list!
How am I just discovering this list? 👀
my favorite fantasies are always the ones with a mystery involved!
Meee toooo, doesnt have to be mirder either. I debated making this general mystery x fantasy but i thought that’d be too grey and potentially become every book hahaha
Please please please add more books to it as you come across them.
Happily! And i’ll take recs too!
I'll think about it. I'm sure I know about some 🧐
Yay! I feel very motivated about this list now after these positive comments hehe
Three Parts Dead by Max Gladstone The Justice of Kings by Richard Swan The Silverblood Promise by James Logan The Witness for the Dead by Katherine Addison
I've only read TSP and TWFTD, though
Sorry for the delay, added now! Thank u again sm!!!
Omg thank you!!! Ill have a look into these when a bit more awake heheh yay
My little rec is Drakenfeld by Mark Charan Newton! I read it last year and it was great! Leans more traditional mystery as far as writing style (very similar to The Tainted Cup) but is set in a fantasy world!
Thank youuuuuuuu
When A Court of Venus gets put on pb/goodreads, I’ll add that too
if you're open to recommendations, "a strange and stubborn endurance" by foz meadows would fit the list! (and is also an amazing book, in general)
So fun!! I'd recommend The Seven and a half deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle! It's mostly a who dunnit but with some fantastical elements!
Amazing! just my kinda stories hahaha. If your looking for recs, the Jackaby series by William Ritter is basically fantasy Sherlock Homes and i love it 😁
I love fantasy and I love a murder mystery but I have not read that many books where the two intersect. Excited to check out a few of these
May I suggest a book? Its called Spells and Suspects by Paula Lester
Ooh, a wonderful list! Love it! And congrats on being recommended for a quest!
If you're interested in suggestions, you might consider adding the first October Daye book by Seanan McGuire, Rosemary and Rue. October is a fae PI investigating a murder. ♡
Gonna have fun reading books off this! Fantasy and mystery/thriller are my two favorites ^w^
