A collection of non-fiction books that touch upon the stories of the natural world, and all the people who live among it. (Or, as an astronomer once said: "I love stories, and the story of our universe is the grandest one we have") Always open to suggestions!

(SLAMS FIST ON THE TABLE) NOW THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT
This list is fantastic! Can I also suggest two books from the First Knowledges series edited by Margo Neale - Astronomy and Plants

Oooh - thank you! Adding them both! ❤️
it's so pretty 🥹💚

💚💚💚 I’m so glad it meets the approval of the pagebound’s most illustrious science tomato 🍅
I know we say not to judge a book by the cover but why are all the covers this gorgeous 😭❤️. I want them all.

I KNOW oh my gosh aren't they just? if they started making fancy sprayed edges and special editions of nature books i would go bankrupt
this list makes my lil indigenous heart so fucking happy🥹 might i recommend Finding the Mother Tree to be added ?

Oh I love this list!🍃😍 I’ll definitely try to read some of this titles in the foreseeable future🥰 Might I suggest Stefano Mancuso as an author? He is a botanist known for his research on plant intelligence. I’m currently reading “Planting Our World” and it’s great! Also, I’ve been recommended another of his books, “Plant Revolution”, but I haven’t managed to read it yet!
