TOTALLY that was actually me before too! i chose my earlier one for the skin tone but this new one reflected me more AND was pink which i wanted more! so cute of us and im super happy for u ehehehe

yes! the FMC doesnt exactly give oldest daughter vibes BUT it follows the story of her life over decades and halfway through we start getting alternating chapters from her daughters perspective who DEFINITELY gives these vibes and by the halfway point her daughter is just as much of a FMC.

I would like to recommend And the River Drags Her Down by Jihyun Yun! One of the characters was a parentified child, and the book explored the loneliness, grief, and burnout that came with it. I was thinking of this list while reading it lol

May I recommend: Diavola by Jennifer Thorne satisfied the need I didnât know I had for a family vacation horror featuring a FMC just trying to save and appease her ungrateful family. I havenât read Listen to Your Sister by Neena Viel, itâs on my TBR, but based on the title alone âŠ
